The Department of Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality Management was established in the Division of Culture & Tourism of Sookmyung in 2007 by a contract made between Sookmyung and Le Cordon Bleu, the world’s best hospitality corporate brand. The Department now has a new undergraduate curriculum which corresponds to the changing needs of the times and it is generating the first professional Korean workforce in the field of the world’s best hospitality management. If students complete the course in Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality Management, they can obtain both a Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality BA Certificate and a Sookmyung Women’s University BA at the same time. In addition, students are automatically enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu Global Community upon their entrance into Sookmyung, and their LCB BA career will be admitted all over the world.
Purpose of the Education
The education purpose of Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality Management Major is to cultivate the professional manpower of international hospitality management who can create the desirable dining-out culture with the thorough education of theory and practice on the food service industry home and abroad.
