The Department of Entrepreneurship was established in 2010 with the goal of nurturing global management leaders who can manage multinational enterprise projects or found companies with innovation and vision. The Department promotes innovation based on distinctive feminine sensitivity and humanism, and the curriculum features practice and theories that help students establish proper strategies according to changing environments. All major classes are taught in English to encourage global vision, and students are obliged to learn either Japanese or Chinese in order to understand the rapidly growing Asian markets.
Purpose of the Education
Major of entrepreneurship aims for cultivation of global management leader who can actually go out for business through education of entrepreneurship and innovative minds. This major also has its philosophical purpose of education to cultivate leaders with planning and practicing abilities who can directly aim for global market and global multinational corporation. Especially, based on emotions and humanism of women, it is emphasized to have education that focuses on development of items and strategies, inducing to reduce trials and errors by experiencing real field in practice. Furthermore, the understanding of many languages and culture is necessary as the courses are taught in English, and students are required to study Japanese and Chinese.
