The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Sookmyung Women’s University enthusiastically fosters academic collaborations and cultural exchanges, including dual degree programs, studying abroad opportunities and global exploration programs in partnership with esteemed institutions. Moreover, our dedicated efforts extend to cultivating and nurturing deep academic relationships with a diverse range of institutes, enterprises and research organizations, all aimed at empowering the next generation of global women leaders.

Working Areas (Key Objectives)

Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with Universities worldwide.
Creating and promoting diverse International programs, including conferences, seminars, dual degree options, studying abroad opportunities and overseas training programs, to foster global leadership among SMU students.
Facilitating and managing academic and research collaborations with various institutes in the academic, research and education sectors.
Planning and overseeing admission affairs for international students.
Providing comprehensive support and information on academic and immigration matters for international students.
